4th of July Celebration
Theme park entry to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Independence Day celebrations runs from Saturday, July 2, through Monday, July 4.
It includes all the enticing nightly fireworks displays, live music performances, uniquely themed décor, and other activities.
Visitors will enjoy the 4th of July celebrations when they walk along the famous red carpet and enter the theme park, from themed décor to the sounds of a fife and drum band.
Daily at 9 pm, two places within the theme park broadcast a spectacular fireworks display over the sky, timed to a score of patriotic and Universal-themed music.

If you’re searching for the best present, go holiday shopping in Hogsmeade for unique things in the village shops, such as customized ornaments and notebooks.
Each evening at dusk, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” dazzles with breathtaking animation and visual effects as the impressive light projection show illuminates Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
It brings the iconic Hogwarts castle to life and fills the area with the sounds of a soundtrack from the Harry Potter film series.
As you see photographs of Christmas carolers, candles illuminating the castle, and party goers dancing around, it is utterly captivating.
As soon as you enter the joyous amusement park, you are diverted.
As holiday park visitors bounce around the topsy-turvy 65-foot-tall “Grinchmas” tree in Universal Plaza, decorated with hundreds of ornaments, trinkets, and thousands of LED lights, Who-bilation will return in festive flair.
Each evening at around 5.30 pm and every half hour till closing, it features a glittering tree lighting ceremony and a snowfall flurry.
You may chat with the Grinch face-to-face and take a priceless family portrait on the plaza. He might give you one of his offensive onions, so be careful.
Max, the dog, is also available for adorable family portraits, and Cindy-Lou Who shares some of her favorite holiday tales.
A few Whovillians make their way around the circle while singing Grinchmas melodies to promote holiday cheer.
Start early. While everyone else explores the rest of Who-Ville, you would have someone wait in the lengthy queue to meet the Grinch.
With Max, you can even shoot pictures.
EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal Studios Hollywood will ring in 2023 with EVE, Hollywood’s largest New Year’s Eve party with music entertainment, a spectacular fireworks show, and access to several rides and attractions on Saturday, 31 December, with extended hours until 2 am.
EVE, included in the cost of theme park admission, starts at 9 pm as a fun celebration with DJs spinning a wide variety of music for guests to dance into the new year to their choice of pop, rock, hip-hop, EDM, and Latin music.
Around the theme park, there are iconic photo opportunities as well.

At Universal Studios Hollywood’s EVE, participate in Hollywood’s largest New Year’s Eve party.
Enjoy yourself and celebrate with a midnight countdown celebration with fireworks, several party areas with music, dancing, photo ops, and refreshments available for purchase.
