Springfield- The Themed Simpsons Area

In 2013, The Simpsons Ride took center stage as the main attraction in a themed Simpsons land Universal Studios Hollywood.

If you are looking for an exhilarating and hilarious adventure, don’t miss the chance to take a trip to Springfield and board The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This immersive experience allows you to dive even deeper into the fictional town of Springfield

As you explore this themed area, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped right into your TV screen, surrounded by iconic locations from the animated series.

Queue and Pre-Shows

Your adventure begins as you walk through a 32-foot head of Krusty the Clown, leading you into the ride’s line queue.

The queue immerses you in a carnival midway atmosphere, complete with posters showcasing Krustyland attractions and snippets from the Krusty the Clown television show.

In the first pre-show, designed to mimic a fair’s midway, you’re introduced to the impending mayhem.

Krusty handpicks the Simpson family to take on the most extreme ride in his park, setting the stage for Sideshow Bob’s mischievous schemes.

In the second pre-show, you’ll find yourself in a funhouse-like room that unveils the park’s nuclear reactor, discusses height restrictions, and delivers a humorous safety video.

The Single Ride Line and Universal Express are both available for The Simpsons Ride Universal Studios Hollywood.

Ride Experience

Once aboard the ride vehicle, the real fun begins.

As you take your seat, Homer Simpson adds his comical touch, making sure everyone finds the ‘better’ seat and threatening to make an annoying noise if necessary.

Riders are then greeted by Jeremy, a teen operator, who assures everyone of their safety and requests that they keep the screaming to a minimum.

Suddenly, Sideshow Bob takes control, declaring that he is in charge of Krustyland.

He activates the ride, plunging riders into a virtual world where they navigate Krustyland’s attractions and experience various twists and turns.

The combination of the physical movement of the vehicle and on-screen motion creates a dynamic and exhilarating experience.

The ride takes you through a series of entertaining scenarios, including a roller coaster, a wet and smokey stunt show, and a perilous adventure through Springfield.

As the ride nears its end, the Simpson family lands back at their home, only to find it transformed into a thrilling amusement park ride by Kang and Kodos.

The ride culminates with an explosive finish, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all riders.

As the ride comes to an end, Maggie Simpson takes center stage.

Her actions, along with the rest of the Simpson family, lead to a comical and memorable conclusion. Riders are treated to a final surprise before they can exit the ride.
