Let’s explore Universal Studios Hollywood rides– Jurassic World, attractions – Raptor Encounter, DinoPlay, restaurants, and more.

Jurassic World—The Ride

Jurassic World at Universal Studios Hollywood offers a thrilling experience that transports you into the heart of the iconic Jurassic World theme park.

The original Jurassic Park ride’s opening date was in 1996.

After a significant transformation and reopening in 2019, it evolved into a more intense and exhilarating adventure.

The attraction features an original story that unfolds within the Jurassic World theme park and offers an exciting and suspenseful adventure.

With a special introduction from some of the Jurassic World cast, prepare for a thrilling journey culminating with a very close encounter with a fearsome Indominus rex.

The adventure begins with a visit to the underwater observatory, where you encounter life-sized dinosaurs like the majestic Mosasaurus.

This tranquil tour takes a dramatic turn inside Predator Cove when the formidable Indominus rex escapes, setting off a heart-pounding chase through the jungle.

An epic showdown unfolds between the Indominus rex and the Tyrannosaurus rex before you take an exhilarating 84-foot plunge down a waterfall.

Keep in mind that this is a water ride, so expect to get wet, whether from the thrilling splash at the end of the mist and dinosaur encounters along the way.

Spoiler Alert
The 84-foot plunge is thrilling, but the most surprising moment is at the ride’s start.

The ride’s standout moment is the aquarium observatory, where screens create a lifelike encounter with the Mosasaurus.

Then the Mosasaurus smashes into the window and drenches the boat, creating a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat experience.

The Jurassic World ride has a height requirement of at least 42 inches (107 cm).

A supervising companion must accompany children between 42 inches (107cm) and 48 inches (122cm).

Families with younger children can utilize the Child Switch option upon request to take turns riding while someone watches over the little explorers.

For those wanting to maximize their experience, Universal Express is available to help reduce wait times.

There’s also a Single Rider Line for an expedited entry into this thrilling journey.
